Most staterooms feature twin balconies for fresh air and river views, while dining spans the Main Restaurant, The Chef’s Table, and the Al Fresco Terrace. We sailed Budapest to Regensburg. Food was good to excellent. We liked that the food and wines were themed for the country we were in, and there were always “go to” choices if you didn’t like the menu (hamburger, pizza, steak, salmon). The choice of the buffet or the menu was nice. Wine was generally very good and ours were generous. Staff was excellent. Cruise director, Borasz, was great and a funny guy. How can they always be so polite? The only time they were not smiling was when I turned down another glass of wine, or skipped dessert. Shore excursions were good, and I liked that there was a regular speed and a gentle speed. Some excursions even had an active speed option. Rooms were very nice, and cleanliness was outstanding. A very good singer/pianist plus another singer and even a lecture on the locks - all very entertaining. Restaurant and lounge could get noisy, which made it hard for those with hearing issues. I would always leave a few minutes early from the cocktail hour to grab a quieter seat. This was our first river cruise.
