This was our first cruise ever and it couldn’t have been better. From the staff being so friendly and attentive to the quality of the food, all was excellent! Our stateroom attendant indra saw to our every need! He was a friendly person who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Whether we needed extra towels or separate beach towels he made it happen. His added touches during the day and at turn down time were very appreciated. He was by far one of the best room attendant’s we have ever had on sea or at a resort. The restaurants on board the beyond are by far spectacular. The food was always delicious and the dining experiences were amazing. Thanks to a few in cosmopolitan restaurant that went out of their way and made our two meals there a delicious adventure. Our waiter with all the moves was judito, the assistant waiter that ensured our water glasses were always full and brought those delicious buns and breads was jonathan. The sommelier with a superior knowledge of his wines and what pared nicely with the entrees was marwin. These 3 were a part of a well organized group of people that made our meals very enjoyable to say the least. The food in the buffet was phenomenal! So many choices, so many deserts! Fantastic! The staff on board made you feel welcome, always a smile, always well mannered and friendly. One downfall during the entire journey was the stores staff. Unless you look like money, they tend not to be as attentive as they are with some other guests. One even looked at us and automatically took us over to the sale display. The coffee shop was wonderful. They had lovely baked goods and always a great cup of coffee. Whether it’s a frappuccino or a cappuccino to a mocha chino they were all so good! The staff at the cafe were always there with a smile and a friendly suggestion to help you savour the experience. Having spent many holidays at all inclusive resorts, we were used to the towels on the loungers, but honestly some people need to think of others rather than reserve a lounger for an entire day even if you only plan to use it in the afternoon! One nice thing i saw, staff did remove some towels on loungers not being used for long periods of time. Shore excursions were good. Again very well organized. Most ports even have shops to look at even if you don’t go on an excursion. The only disappointing port was the port at porto plata. The had 3 shops, a jewelry store, a liquor store and a cigar shop. Most other ports at least had other small shops to buy local souvenirs. One of the places that we never originally decided to visit, was cococay, however i’m glad we did! Our excursion unfortunately got canceled so we decided to make the best of it and explored the other places on the island. The beaches were very nice, they had plenty of free loungers with umbrellas! And the drinks were terrific. There they also had a small shopping area that had everything from hair braiding to knickknacks from the area. Cococay was a very pleasant surprise. Our disembarkation was also very smooth. We opted to take the airport service from celebrity cruises and everything ran very well. We decided to take our own luggage with us rather than have it picked up the night before and we made a good decision. We were assigned an area to gather and wait for our disembarkation time which was well announced, we left the ship, slipped past the baggage that had been collected the night before and went through american customs extremely quickly. Once past customs there were lots of guides that helped us find our way to the bus to the airport. The driver loaded our bags on, and once full (which hardly took any time) we were off to the airport. Busses were well marked, for miami airport or fort lauderdale airport, the buses had the destination well lit up. It didn’t take too long to get to the airport, we seemed to pass the long lines of taxis and private cars stuck in a traffic jam. The bus stop at the airport was very convenient. All in all our cruise was very memorable and extremely enjoyable.
We usually cruise with Royal Carribean and wanted to try something different. The service was good but one server was sick and should not have been working. My wife actually asked him , “Are you sick,?” and he responded ,” Yes mame “. He was clearly not well and was breathing all over us. Needless to say, by the end of the week, we all got colds. Then I needed to get something out of my suitcase which was under the bed. I wish I didn’t look under there because it was not vacuumed from the last passengers. Crumbs and some small pieces of garbage were under there. It was gross. Our room attendant gave us his card the 1st day and then we never spoke to him again. The odd good morning while passing him in the hall, but he never once made any attempt to ask if we needed anything. We just never developed a rapport with him. Which is very different from Royal Carribean. We always enjoyed that part. One dinner we had at Normandy was going well but then we ended up waiting for ever for our entrees. And missed the show we wanted to see. Service at the bars were great! The ship itself is beautiful. The shows were not as good as Royal Carribean. We were impressed with all the hand washing stations. The food quality I would say 4 out of 5. I think I will go back to Royal next time.

We completely reimagined our already incredible main dining experience when we introduced Celebrity Edge®, and it’s only getting better on our third Edge Series ship, Celebrity Beyond℠. Once again, you can discover not one but four complimentary main restaurants, each with a distinctive design and signature dishes inspired by specific regions of the world. Now, you’ll find new menus and menu selections across our main restaurants.
On our Celebrity Edge® Series ships, we may have reinvented the main restaurant experience with four different venues, but we haven’t changed the way you plan your dining. With Celebrity Select Dining you can choose early seating at 6:00 P.M., late seating at 8:30 P.M., or dine whenever you want. You’ll be assigned one of the four main restaurants, while having the option to dine in the other three upon request and availability.

In addition to our four main restaurants, you’ll find an array of complimentary dining options aboard Celebrity Beyond. Kids and Teen Programs
The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
Entertainment On Board
There’s no shortage of entertaining venues on board. Spend the day swimming in the pool with the kids, then watch the sunset while relaxing in one of our elevated hot tubs. Gather on board for movie night under the stars, silent disco parties, hot glass classes, and archery tournaments —so many activities to share.
