This was our first cruise and we were pleasantly pleased. Firstly if you are not good with crowds at times it may not be for you. We found the staff extremely pleasant and they definitely gave professional service. The restaurants were busy but getting a place was never too hard. The food was nice. I'm not going to review the entertainment it's not really my thing but I'm sure they give it their best. The pool areas were really busy but even so we managed to obtain sun loungers and have a dip in the pool. Our favourite bars were the crows nest, sunset bar and java coffee. The cabin was clean and adequate with a nice balcony for drinks and dolphin Watching. We really enjoyed the black tie nights four in all. So all in all I would gladly do this again. A nice time was had for all
We've sailed on Britannia several times. In fact it's our favourite P&O ship. The staff are always very keen to make your stay a good one, and this was no exception. We had a balcony cabin which was clean and well presented. The cabin staff were very attentive. We ate mainly at the free sit down restaurants included in the fee. Occasionally we used the speciality dining paying the extra fees. The food was delicious. We attended the talks. These are variable. We've found the same on past cruises. We went on several excursions which we paid extra for. These were all very good and worth paying for. We attended several on ship entertainment sessions in The Headliners Theatre. These are truly astonishing and well worth attending. We've never had a disappointing time on this ship and will continue to use it as part of future holiday planning sessions. Good old Britannia.
