Another excellent experience with Windstar. The ship was very clean and in fine shape. the food and service (especially on deck at Veranda/ Candles) met all expectations. The Captain is very personable, and he communicates status and explains even minor issues very well. This was a new itinerary so there were a few annoyances with shore excursions but nothing significant. This was our first trip on the Spirit, and to be honest, we do like the Surf better, which sets a high bar for deck space and the perfect balance of cozy vs quiet areas. The Spirit sometimes felt a bit too small for us, especially when looking for a quiet spot in the shade … The sail always were magical and we enjoyed beautiful weather with calm seas. The embark/ disembark process was quick, efficient and flawless. Overall, this was another great Windstar cruise and again we regretted not staying on another week. Enjoy.
This was our 1st WS sailing. We wanted to see the Greek Islands and thought the small ship would be ideal. Everything about the ship, crew, food and stops were great. The small size with 138 passengers was a treat. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The dinning was delicious. The ports were like postcards. We did some ship tours, independent tours and just wandering the ports. The Destination Discovery Event was an evening in Ephesus with dining and music in front of the Library. It was a highlight. My complaints are with the front end. We arrived at the port independently. They gave us the wrong Terminal which was a bit annoying. Our deposit increased after final payment and we had to make a last minute payment. The website would not let you pay for tours, a phone call had to be made. The layout of the website was not user friendly. But the cruise was wonderful.

Everything you can think of for fun in the water is there — swimming, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. And it’s all complimentary, of course. Sun yourself on deck, take a dip in the whirlpool, then catch up on email or order a cheese plate for your stateroom or suite. After dinner, dance to live music in the Lounge. This is your yacht, so of course you’re welcome on the Bridge, where the Captain and officers are delighted to share charts, routes, and vistas with you.
